Brothers and Sisters
« on: June 08, 2007, 10:12:02 AM »

I heard a song the other day and it really made me think of everyone here.
If you get a chance to listen to Rob Thomas " streetcorner symphony"

its like it was made for us.... who knows maybe it was.

Every different color.

sing to your God and dance for today we suffer but tomorrow we prance.

Love to all.

Hi Arcturus..

I think this is the one Randy was talking about...

        Rob Thomas Streetcorner Symphony Lyrics

It's morning
I wake up
The taste of summer sweetness on my mind
It's a clear day
In this city
Let's go dance under the street lights
All the people in this world
Let's come together
More than ever
I can feel it
Can you feel it

Come on over
Down to the corner
My sisters and my brothers of every different color
Don't you feel that sunshine telling you to hold tight
Things will be alright
Try to find a better life
Come on over
Down to the corner
My sisters and my brothers there for one another
Won't you come on over
Man I know you wanna let yourself go

Some people
It's a pity
They go all their lives and never know
How to love or to let love go
But it's alright now
We'll make it through this somehow
And we'll paint the perfect picture
All the colors of this world will run together
more than ever

I can feel it
Can you feel it

Come on over
Down to the corner
My sisters and my brothers of every different color
Don't you feel that sunshine telling you to hold tight
Things will be alright
Try to find a better life
Come on over
Down to the corner
My sisters and my brothers there for one another
Won’t you come on over
Man I know you wanna let yourself go

We may never find our reason to shine
But here and now this is our time
And I may never find the meaning of life
But for this moment I am fine
So

Come on over
Down to the corner
My sisters and my brothers of every different color
Dont you feel that sunshine telling you to hold tight
Things will be alright
Try to find a better life
Come on over
Down to the corner we can leave it all behind
Never been a better time
Come on over
Man I know you wanna let yourself go on and on

Thanks Randy,

That is a cool song. :) And I think Rob Thomas is a cool singer!  "Little Wonders" is another good new song by him.

Peace to you ~ Lisa

You are correct Ron thanks for the words.  ;D

You are very welcome Lisa. Little wonders is a great song also.

Hi Arcturus, lol yup the music does help I feel its soothes the soul.

We are so bless to have a God who gives such beautiful flavors of life such as music, and the colors of love from everybodys heart.

I stand in AW of such a Great and Almighty God, "who is man that you even consider him?"
We are HIs children.

Peace Love and Wisdom to all my brothers and sisters.
