Hi Ray-

 Your editorials are informative. I begun reading your thesis on free will-

In acts they gave diligent and respectful attention to what was taught and
then "carefully searched the scriptures to see if (what they were taught)
were so."

Therefore I have a question:

 If all evil first begins in the heart then what does the scriptures mean
 when it states: "Be made new by the renewing of your mind?"

We need not only a new mind, but we also need a NEW HEART, and a NEW SPIRIT (Ezek. 38:31; 36:26, etc.l).
