What was the meaning of hell when the scribes translated the original language. Why would they translate them to "Hell" ?
Sorry, Herb, but too big a subject for an email. It would take me months to explain this in any kind of detail. See Installments A and B (about 60 pages) on "sheol" in my "HELL" series for just the Old Testament use of the word "hell." In Installments D-1, D-2, and D-3 I cover "Gehenna fire" translated "hell fire." In a future Installment (probably about Installment E) I will cover "hades" translated "hell."
