a funny thing happened on the way to the mailbox

Only God could set this up so perfectly!

I was walking down my driveway to pick up the mail and I was met half way by the most excruciatingly perky and positively perfect young woman who cheerily greeted me with a "Hi, how are you today!" As I eyed her with complete suspicion, she reached out her hand and gave me a Mormon flyer straight out of 1950 inviting me to know Christ through the Hill Cumorah Pageant (it is held every year a few miles from here). Ok, so I should have known this was coming......Sadly, I had to walk the rest of the way down the driveway with her as she marched on toward her next victim
I picked up my mail and found a letter from a dear friend which I opened as I walked back to the house. Out fell two objects from the envelope and when I stooped to pick them up, I discovered they were pins, and the first one said.....

PLEASE JESUS- PROTECT ME FROM YOUR FOLLOWERS!!!!

I laughed all the way back to the house and several more times as I shared the pins with my family!


God is amazingly great and wonderful to give me such a chuckle on an ordinary day!
