It was an emotional day; I don't like it when my animals don't feel good. Kali, my 8 yr old Calico, spent most of the day at the animal hospital. She will be ok, just has some urinary infection stuff going on and will need antibiotics for several days, but I was very concerned.
The last time I went thru a similar situation (8 yrs ago with Chewy, my Sealpoint Siamese), my baby's ashes came home in a box. I thought she was just a fat cat, but the Vet found a large mass attached to her intestinal tract and she did not survive the surgery.
The Vet that did the surgery on Chewy found Kali for me; Kali was born the same day Chewy died. So, Kali is pretty special to me.
