Please tell me about Mobile Alabama and the meetings that is taking place in November.  Is it open?  Peggy

Hi Peggy,

The conference in Mobile is open to all of the BT readers that would like to hear Ray speak in person.
There are no fee of any kind, Ray will never ask you for money.
Mobile is in south Alabama, where Ray lives.

The conference is a wonderful time to meet others of like mind.  The atmosphere is spirit filled, and the feeling is that you are among old friends.  It was a joy to be there and a restpit from this world.

To hear Ray speak in person gives you a much better understanding about him.  He speaks with authority, but is not harsh, as many accuse him of being.  He is very friendly and will enjoy meeting everybody that comes.

If you have an opportunity to be there you should certainly come, you won't regret it

Hi Peggy,

I second all that Kat wrote.

This will be my 4th Conference and it is an experience that is hard to put into words, it is a spiritual atmosphere to be sure, some at the Nashville Conference called it a family reunion with family members they had never met before, there is a feeling of brotherly love and a beautiful mix of races and nationalities. We are all of the same spirit when we meet like this.

You will see first hand that Ray is a good natured, witty guy who will be very generous with his time and with answering any questions you might have.

Out of about 60 people who attended the last Conference only about 15 - 20 were from the Forum, the rest are people who regularly read the articles on Bible Truths but for one reason or another are not members here, some do join after attending the Conference.

If only we could enjoy the same degree of fellowship here as we do when we meet in person, the spirit of Christ seems so apparent not only during the actual seminars but also as we share meals together and visit together.

I am once again really looking forward to attending.

I will be checking on flights and a vehicle rental, as the accommodations seem alright.
"I'll be present" - Lord willing, or in Spirit - if not.

Well, from Phoenix, Arizona to Mobile, Alabama:

Flight averages between $464 - $509
Vehicle Rental between $138 - $164
Ashbury (per site) is at $70 - $80 per night (3 nights?)

Flight/Hotel/Rental averages between $794 - $1,018
Do it separate would be $672 - $ 753 (minimum)

This would be, per person, from November 2nd to the 5th (Friday to Monday).

Cost for me to fly to Kauai from Canada $730...!!!

Oh well, at this point I can't afford either  ...but Lord willing one day I shall meet some of you!

It would be nice if we double up in travel, by car and hotel, sharing expenses.  Maybe more could go.  I live in Florida and would be willing to do that.  Maybe some one lives near you skydreamer?  I hope so!!! peggy

Yes he usually does have annual conferences.
A spring conference in Nashville, Tenn. and
a fall conference in Mobile, Ala.

Not sure why that poll came up, must have been a mistake.

Hello Kat,

I would like to attend in Mobile but it is quite expensive to fly ($436.00 round trip for one) and too far to drive (900 miles from Culver, IN) , so flying is probably a better bargain than driving all that way.  So, I am interested to know whether the Nashville conference will be repeated in 2008.  We Yankee folks are probably in the minority, but would like to share in the blessings.

Hi Bob,

I think it is Ray's intention to have a spring conference in Nashville and a fall one in Mobile every year.
But the dates will not be set until a few months before hand. 
So with the expence and all, if you need to save up for it, I think he is pretty likely to have it in Nashville in the spring.

Tickets to Gulfport, MS (about 40 miles away) are usually cheaper, sometimes a lot cheaper.

If you were going to rent a car anyway, you may want to look into flying into Gulfport.
