Hi Rick,

This reallly touched my heart. I viewed it last night after a very frustrating day with my elderly, frail, confused parents. It made me cry because it's so true. I feel like I know what is best and what is safer for them, but my mother is not cooperating. She is fiercely guarding her independence, and has a hard time allowing any changes. It's a fine balance between helping them maintain their independence, and intervening when I think their safety is at stake.

Yesterday, all I could see were hidden dangers, and nothing was going right. The house is messy and dirty, they are not eating properly, and now even though I fill a dosette for their pills, they were not taken correctly. I really need to relax, I know that. That video helped me see their point of view in a new way. And I also know that it's all in the Father's hands, and He has it all under control.
