Hello everyone,

My name is Eric and I must say, I am very glad I found this site.

It is SO good to see the original Greek and/or Hebrew translations being brought forth to better understand God's Word and his magnificent spirit.

The concept of a loving merciful God who sends most of the human race to an everlasting existence of torment never did jive with me, and I've constantly searched my own heart and mind and the hearts and minds of others to find a suitable answer to many of my questions about who God is and HOW he would be.

Just breaks my heart that Christendom has done such a disservice to the world at large with it's mistakenly horrendous concept of God's "holy" justice.

I can only hope that more will be brought to learn the truths about our God and stop mindlessly believing the clergy with no examination on their own part.

It's amazing to me that such integral doctrine has been twisted to serve those in "power" and has continued to blind and lead astray even those who yearn for the Truth.

Thanks to all who contribute to this forum, and I hope my own perspectives and questions will somehow help serve others in their quest for understanding our Lord and our Father better that we may truly love and worship God as He rightly deserves.

Yes we rejoice here in the knowledge that all will be saved.  I hope you will join in and share with us in the fellowship we have here with Christ.
Embracing this truth can lead to a lonely walk for us, so this forum is a place that we come to refresh ourselves with other likeminded believers.  I think you will enjoy being here too.

KAT - I'm beginning to experience a little of that lonely walk, or at least get some idea of what this all means in my life.  But I've always thought and told others that I want the TRUTH regardless of whether its what everyone else believes.  For years that has been my goal and until I found BT, I thought I was pretty enlightened.  Wow was I was wrong  :)

I'm overwhelmed with how much more there is....and how excited that I am to learn it all in His time.

Eric, you were led here like all of us.  Its a wonderful thing to know that He really does direct our steps!
