This is the day the Lord has made!

Good morning, everyone,
My verse for the day...
 
Psalm 118:24 "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it".


First time I am seeing this through a "God's in control perspective",  to me it means, everything about this day, everything that happens, God is working out for His purpose.  Kinda puts a smile on my face  ;D./

the verse right before it is kinda cool, too:

"this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes!"

Funny how scriptures take on a glorious new application when seen thru a "God is in control" kind of way!

We  WILL rejoice .... WE will .... WILL  Rejoice!!!

I used to think I had the power to rejoice or not...it was my decision..not Gods plan unfolding.

Great post Joe...beautiful!  It is so great to see God's sovereignty in everything...to me it brings the feeling of SAFETY!  We are in the hands of a loving Father. Awesome.
