Attention Animal Lovers!
« on: September 09, 2007, 02:40:55 PM »

I just received an e-mail from my sister in law about the horrific slaughtering of deer (see below).  If you click on the link you can read more about it, but a warning with regards to watching the video...I couldn't watch it all...it's overwhelmingly sad and horrible.  I'm posting this with prayer that some of my forum friends might also want to get involved in stopping this insanity.

Peace,
Diana

Please check out this important information about a farm in New
York that is killing conscious, timid deer under grotesque and
inhumane conditions by pulling on the animals' ears and antlers
to expose their throats, gouging into their necks, and more.

Please click the link below to send a quick note to Musicon,
Inc., urging the company to stop torturing terrified animals.

Just so that you would know, Diana, I signed one of their letters to oppose this and got a nice thank you note by email.  So good of you to bring this forward.

Many thanks.

Hi Diana,

I once read a book called Slaughterhouse that described the conditions and practices of slaughtering animals for general consumption. It was also horrifying. Pigs, cattle and poultry are terrified during the process, and  because of productivity, the animals need to be run through the processing quickly and therefore it is not always humane.
