And then what?..............
Kat:
Well I too think that the universe has been created for the purpose that is far grander than what it is now. It is a incredibly great expanse and in our present human form we are not able to explore it at all. It has been in only the last 50 years or so that we have been able to learned much about it and have revealed many mysteries.
It is hard for me to comtemplate what God must have in store for us, but it will no doubt be wonderful - fantastic - magnificent and stunning.
I however do not believe there is other 'life' in the universe, when you consider this scripture.
Gen 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.

Kat,
You are right with your post. I do not believe in life on other planets even though my post sounds as I do. I realize that in my present state I cannot imagine what God has planned for us in the ages to come, so I sometimes think on things I can imagine that would be great in my mind and then realize the truth is that it is going to be better than that. I should have thought before posting or gone into more detail or better yet not posted at all since this my little way of thinking.

My brain shuts down when trying to think about the vastness of the universe and the possibilities in the ages to come. It also opens up a door to unscriptural thoughts of SciFi fantasy and the such (I am guilty of this in the past).
I compare this topic to how Ray describes trying to meditate on eternity for more than a few seconds :o it just wasn't meant to be totally understood by us right now.

Very true ... but what it God were to translate certain people to other star systems--either in the past or in the future--just like he translated Enoch to another earthly location? Many planets could be populated right now, awaiting God's elect to rule over them.
Just a thought ... :)
