It's only wrong if you consider these things to be spiritual.

Thank you Musicman, I do wear it as a reminder as to What Jesus did on the cross, would that be concidered spiritual?..hence,I dont look at it as just a piece of jewelry.
Thanks

Vicoline

As Ray points out, it is the intent of your heart.  If you are wearing the cross for some kind of physical or carnal peace or it makes you feel closer to God then I would say you have to judge yourself on the matter.

"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (in the flesh or carnally such as circumcision, baptism, communion, etc); ye are fallen from grace."  Gal 5:4

It is all spirit and comes from Christ in you.

Hello Vicolive

Welcome to the Forum and thank you for your question.

We have learnt here in BT that nothing physical brings any spiritual benefits or advantages.

For me I believe that it is better to carry one's cross than to wear it ;D but no big deal if you wear it too. :) There is no law for or against wearing a cross.

Peace be to you

Arcturus :)

Dear Members,

It has been my experience in the past that topics such as these, regarding whether it is right or wrong to celebrate holidays, birthdays or other physical rituals such as wearing a cross, rarely inspire conversation that is beneficial to our members and guests, and usually end up in a thread that is full of heated conversation concerning mainly personal opinion and speculation at best.

That being said, before replying to this poster, as I am sure the question is asked with honest desire to know the truth... please consider the following statement from the forum rules:

"THIS FORUM IS NOT TO BE USED TO DEBATE RELIGIOUS TOPICS"

God's Wisdom and Peace to you all.

It is true Josh that these types of threads can derail fast and this has happened in the past. Thank you for the caution and warning.

Here are a few non-negotiable truths as expressed in the following emails by Ray that may help regarding the subject under enquiry.
