help with Solomon

It's a pity that despite the wisdom that the Lord granted him, He didn't also grant him the ability to follow through with that wisdom. :(  It does make one wonder where all these extra-canonical legends about Solomon come from, though.

I've been studying Solomon now for a couple of months and this above all things is what I've come to realize, that:

"Information is not knowledge,
Knowledge is not wisdom,
Wisdom is not truth."

Since that was on my eSword I could not give you a link.  I've read bit and pieces about Solomon, but to see it all put together really gives you a different perspective.
