I read the AA program once out of curiosity. I have not had to experience the trials and tribulations of direct experience. I appreciate the brief testimony of Joe because it adds texture to the otherwise academic study of the success that AA claims to have. An inside view is better than the glossy trumped up claims and accredits of any organisation in self aggrandisement mode. And which organisation is not in self aggrandisement mode?

Thanks Joe, I can relate to everything your saying. I too got into trouble with the law and was court ordered into AA. It got real old real fast for me too! Thanks for your input. Mark.
