THE BLONDE FROM ALABAMA
eirinikos:
As an unmarried man of 27, I know I'm not alone in this, but I often wonder why we men are so powerfully charged to be drawn to the female form. I mean really.. those things are just milk sacs designed to nourish offspring. It makes no logical sense that I should have such a powerful and irresistible urge to look at them and maybe cop a squeeze if I happen to get incredibly lucky. Why? Why?
It makes life so difficult to have to fight this thing off, every day. Every time a girl walks by me I have to pound my head and shout silently at my thoughts and eyes "stop looking over there! leave me alone!!"
I am beginning to wonder if there is anyone even out there for me. I mean, it's one thing to be a christian and look for a christian girl. Its quite another to be called out of christian babylon looking for a match outside of christian babylon. Rare, rare, rarer still. Sigh.

What about if you're already married and one of the married couple simply doesn't see what you see or believe what you believe???????????
I know my wife doesn't. For a time we had many a debate, bordering on arguments over this stuff. Now I just leave it al to God, if He chooses to bring her along He will in His own time. I take comfort in 1Corinthians 7:12-14 12 But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. 13 And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.
