What about Heaven?
Sorin:
I believe so, Alex, yeah. But whether our souls are immortal or not; is really immaterial because 'the dead know not anything'...so whether you are dead for a year, or a billion years, it will still seem like a second to you. Therefore, if we are all going to be resurrected, then in that sense, it is as if we never have died at all from our own personal point of view. But of course our souls are not immortal; I can't believe
Christians believe that it is. Haven't they ever read their Bibles?
1 Cor 15:12-22
12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

What's the big deal about people 'rising from the dead', if they never really die in the first place {i.e. immortal souls}?

kat i just was able to read your post and it was very insightful. Lately I have been seeing this carnal heaven too and I just couldn't put words to my thoughts here is a link that I believe is part of the delusion that is here now spreading fast on this earth on heaven and who is God. The world is saying we are God and have a earthly heaven. you made it very clear in your post of the truth by the scriptures thank you it has been very insightful and helpful in my growth. peggy

what kat says here is very important there is a real delusion going on in this country with new age it is entwine with witchcraft and exalting self into a god state the link i present here shows how deluded that message of new age is i am personally going to carry this message to others to hear the truth and know there is one true God and His son Jesus Christ the lamb of God that takes away the sins of this world. peggy
Kat I read the lake of fire i did not get this my mind has been slow to understand i must read again and again until my mind is renew.
