23 minutes in hell is accurate
« on: March 24, 2008, 06:08:43 PM »

It was more like 90 minutes but never the less....out of in-law obligation (and a chance at chicken & dumplings) I attended church with the family yesterday am.

Before leaving for the service I asked my wife if she thought the preacher would have anything new to say or if we would get the re-runs again.  She said something mean to me at that point!   :)  I found myself wanting to take the microphone and speak some truth in to the crowd but I knew the dumplings would be good and my chances would go waaaaaaay down if I didn't smile and act like I enjoyed things.  Deep down I really felt sorry for the family and their friends.

I'll have the country boy breakfast @ the Barrell.
Thats about the only southren cooking that I can find in New York unless I cook it myself and you know it just don't taste as good if another cooked it fer ya.

Next time they ask you if you went to church; ask them if they went to the strip club. If they say no, look at them funny, and end the conversation.

Never tried Logan's Roadhouse, that I can remember anyway. They just opened a new one about 12 miles from the house (4 total in Maricopa County, which has over 4 million people now :o)

MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm  The North just can't get Southern cooking right!!

Yesterday at work, someone just said, matter of factly, well after church did you go see your daughter??

I said No, she came up here.

End of discussion.  I wasn't going to say anything over the copy machine and I just didn't care what she thought!  But it gets me when people just assume things about me!!

Anyway back to food where was I oh yeah...MMMMmmmmmmmm
