Hi Phyllis-
I don't know all the answers to your questions, but I do want to correct my last statement to Arcturus before this goes any further....because of the importance of establishing truth.
Arc...I mistakenly quoted section 10 of the LOF ....I meant section 12.
In that section, Ray clearly gives us the facts to show that the elect (together with Christ Jesus) ARE the LOF. and it is through the safe harbour of the LOF that everyone must pass. Here is the progression of thought on that....

Like Christ, we too are raised with a "SPIRITUAL body" (I Cor. 15:44).
We are in fact called, "the BODY of Christ" (Eph. 1:23).
We will literally "be LIKE Him [Christ]" (I John 3:2).
God will make us into "ministers [of] FLAMING FIRE" (Psalm 104:4).
We too then will be like our God, "a CONSUMING FIRE" (Heb. 12:29).
God promises us that, "…the saints shall JUDGE THE WORLD…" and "we shall JUDGE ANGELS" (I Cor. 6:2-3)!
Now...one last word, which may help Phyillis as well...

The Elect will reign and JUDGE the nations not only through the millennium, but also for the whole period of the Great White Throne/Lake of fire/Second death judgment.
I believe that Ray gives ALL the meanings of the word JUDGE in another area which shows that there are different functions that the body of Christ will be performing throughout these 2 eras of time.
This is a crucial subject for me....I've poured over Ray's papers for so long now and still am uncertain as to the answers to your questions, Phyillis. Interesting thread.....looking forward to its continuation!

This might be a spurous text but also you may not be reading this spiritually. Also perhaps God allowed it to be there to mislead some but to others the text is there because it is true in spiritually.
The way I see this text is that both the elect and those not in tha group are ressurected at the same time, but the spiritually dead (those non elect) will not "live in the spiritual sense "again" until they complete the LOF which may take whatever time needed (ie 1000 yrs)...
The elect were physically dead but at the ressurrection are already spiritually alive at the time. The rest of the physically dead are not spiritually alive yet.
Psa 50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. There are certainly more than just this number, so thousand is a metafor for an unspecified number
Ecc 6:6 Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place? Not only do both die physically but All will go through the LOF. One durng their timehere on earth and the other later.
Isa 60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
These little ones are those not mature in Christ at the ressurrection and not overcomers and will go through a period of maturing. The small ones, are those who died to self, are humbled and were in Christ at ressurrection these are the elect who will rule and reign (serves as shepards and priests) not rule and reign as in the world

RV 20:5 has been an especially "confusing" one to reconcile for me! I've often followed a scenario of end-time events and come to that ONE scripture and not been able to go any further.

Joyful1 it was no mistake! I needed to read what was there for me. :D To add I noticed also on LOF part one Rays says quote : …the Lake Burning with Fire and Brimstone. Which is the SECOND DEATH.
Beloved I see your point. Also it has been speculated that this verse was actually a margin entry that later slipped into the Scriptures. So if it was a "thought" scribbled in the margin, it can mean that the dead are still dead until Death is overcome which is the last enemy. In this sense it is true but in separating the millennium into a period of time BE~F~ORE the judgement at the WTJ, I do not see that it is powerful enough or in line with what the Scriptures witness elsewhere.
1 Thes 4 : 16, 17 is not invalid. As a process that follows 1 Thes 4 : 16,17, death will be the last to be overcome but first those who have departed this life in Christ will rise FIRST....THEN we, the living ones who remain shall SIMULTANEOUSLY be caught up along with the resurrected dead in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air......
Then Christ returns with the Elect to the earth and His reign begins and the LOF WTJ commences the Day of the Lord.
I too certainly need a paper from Ray on this topic! I just can not see why Christ will come in the Millennium reign with His Elect and then wait a thousand years before the WTJ begins. Just can not see it. ::)

This is great y"all, but now I'm getting really confused. I knew there was a reason why my husband told me not to get to involved with revelations. He said I should study the teaching of Christ (The four gospels).
