My testimony
« on: April 13, 2008, 06:10:24 PM »

I have been meditating today with our lord as to how to let folks here know me.  and he said to me-to be brief ,and straight.IT all started
Eight years ago had what only can be described as a Job expierience, my spouse of 21 years died -i lost all my animals except one dog,i -Then i lost my trailer and then a short time later all my'friends' left.--Then i lost my health.A couple of yrs later i heard our Father say to me 'I love you" he had my attention!
He then said i will raise you back up like the 'phoenix,'from the ashes of your life.Well he has kept his word i am now healthy and strong-BECAUSE of him-Only him can i say i walk under his wings of peace and love! I will not stray again! peace -Love to you Lorrie

Thank you for sharing that Lorrie. It is nice to hear these stories from people about how God helps them in a time of need.

Hi Lorrie,

Isn't it interesting how God works?  Experiencing pain and suffering is part of the process to ultimately be made into His image.

Thanks for sharing and I hope you will continue to get stronger.

Hi Lorrie

Welcome to the forum

In my country, your name means truck. And you seem to be in good shape after the truck load you've had. May He keep you resilient.

All Glory to Him

Hi Kweli! thanks for the laugh i REALLY needed that today.
I have been given to understand my name to mean-victorious/warrior of our heavenly Father--in my country.

That's even better. Truck didn't quite do justice.

Stay blessed
