Law?
« on: April 30, 2008, 09:29:29 AM »

Ray I emailed you long time ago and I told you that we were no longer under the law, and you told me, Yes but it was complicated and that you didnt have time to explain.

"Knowing this, that the <law is not made for a righteous man>, but for ...whoremongers [Gk: pornos-paramour/male prostitute] ...and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine" (I Tim. 1:9-10).
After God changes us and burns all bad things, and we change our ways to his, law no longer affects us because we no longer knowledgeably sin.
this is correct yes?

I had another question, I know after we die we go to sleep and do not realize we are asleep, but it is the soul that is sleeping? in a place called Sheol? and when we get a new body our same soul will reside in that new body correct?

Thx

Tito.

Dear Tito:  Well I'm afraid I don't have any more time now than I did then.  However:  Yes, the law was not made for the righteous man, but then again there never was a righteous man, so the law was made for everyone. Law is a good and orderly way of doing things. There will always be law. Jesus will be "subject" to God His Father, ALWAYS (I Cor. 15:27-28), so where there is subjection, there is law.

God be with you,

Ray
