Defining "Judgement"?
« on: May 12, 2006, 11:52:48 PM »

“He who believes in Him is not judged; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.â€? (John 3:18-21)

How do we explain this?

Defining "Judgement"?

This is another example of the difference between the carnally minded and the spiritually minded.  The carnal mind is an enemy of God.  Until the beast is exposed and relinquished, this old thing called self and worldly wisdom cannot see the spiritual things of God.  We cannot serve God and mammon, it must be one or the other.  This is one way to discern between the called and chosen.

He who knows the spiritual laws, but does not do them.  To know God is to be judged by Him, when we do not know Him means we have not yet been judged.  Although many say they know Him, but they do not, because once judged by God, we love our enemies.  We can not say in the same breath, God is love, then say He will torture most forever, and profess to know God.  Impossible.  There's your sign.  When they pull God down and put attributes on His character like the heart of man, bingo, there is the difference between the carnal and the spiritual.

Try and explain these things to those people and get ready for a lot of hatred, because they love the darkness.  That is just the way it is, for now.

God bless,

Gary
