Hi all.  Did anyone hear Ray's message on the story of Esther?(it is on aoinos website). It was pretty straightforward, and I am trying to see myself in the story and how the example is for me.  Any thoughts or comments???

i loved that message of Rays

it was inspiring to see Ray come out fighting for the women.

no room for sexism in the kingdom of God and Ray sure demonstrated that.

the main thing i guess was how that Esther is a type of the elect, the chosen.

She was raised up by God to number two in the kingdom as we shall be raised up in Christ

and two shall become one (there is a wedding imminent)

and God shall be All in all (talk about your happy ending)

I loved that talk. I spent a lot of years thinking women were 'just not as smart' as guys. That talk really put a nail in that coffin.

Although God made us VERY different i'm finding more and more that our 'help meet' was wonderfully made. And suited for our shortcomings.

Sometimes women drive me crazy but, HEY, i'm not perfect either.
I try to keep in mind that one day we'll ALL be sons of God.

Peace...Steve
