I'm past the age of being able to decipher music lyrics.  Those brain cells are decades gone.  My daughter usually interprets for me, the way I do for my dad....

What is this line saying?

What is this line saying?

Are we human [Alive and free] or are we dancers [Dead and chained. As if puppets on a string.]

Notice his lyrics, they seem to have this push toward the idea of weather he is alive, or is he dead? Hands being cold, cut the cord, close your eyes.. etc..

When you think of home will you be alright? Meaning, looking back on the chained up dead life you lived, will you be okay? Theirs no message were recieving, meaning hes dead in a metephorical sence. He's not free like he wants to be.

It sounds as if he is a pupet atm because hes saying good bye to everything, virtue, good, etc.. chained, he wants to be set free. He wants to be set free, he wants to be alive. Don't we all want to be free? Alive? I do! Praise God for our freedom in Christ, we are truly alive when we die to our selves and are raised with Christ! Amen!

Do you see it as i do? It's certainly open to interpretation but this is how i see it when hearing it.
