There wasn't time to say everything Ray wanted to talk about at the conference, so the next bible study will be a continuation of the conference.

Great stuff.
This is indeed a huge subject, I would think it will take Ray quite some time to cover it.

Hopefully we can use the internet (skype, webex) for teleconference at some point in this century?  I'd be willing to put money in that bucket.  You can teleconference up to 1000 people (phone) in listen only mode and 20 people via video teleconference (internet).

I'm so glad that this was the topic of the conference! I've always felt that if we knew everything there is to know that science and the bible would point toward each other instead of away. This is great stuff!

I have so enjoyed the videos and sent the links to several people I am hoping will be intrigued enough to tune in.

This is just another vote for skype.

Ray has canceled the bible study this weekend. He's not feeling well enough.

Ray said perhaps the second weekend in November.

He's not all that well but still very much full of enthusiasm and want's to tie up some loose ends.

Ray is in my thoughts and prayers.

What happened to the September 2008 Conference videos?
I was enjoying them so much.

"Christianity began as a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When it went to Athens, it became a philosophy. When it went to Rome, it became an organization. When it went to Europe, it became a culture. When it came to America, it became a business."

Heb 10:32  But you must continue to remember those earlier days, how after you were enlightened you endured a hard and painful struggle.

Hi Dennis,

How is Ray doing healthwise?  I sent him an email a few days after the conference. (I realize he's extremely busy so I didn't expect a response)

Have a wonderful day!

Dorothy (1st time Conference "newbie")

P.S. Where do I send "an offering" for Ray? (I know he does not ask, but the Laborer is worthy of his hire  ;D )

No bible study this weekend either. Perhaps in November.

Hi Dorothy,

Ray's about the same. It's not that he is too busy to answer your email, he simply cannot type.

Here is the link to donate:

It's nice to see you on the forum Dorothy. I enjoyed our brief visit in Nashville.

Hold the fort down in my old neighborhood.  :)
