No way would I get into it. 

The end on the earth is way too ustable, hurricaines and earthquakes, no way the material that long will to offset the strain .

 The part in the air is not immune either, watch out for space debris, asteroids and any other junk with velocity, low flying planes in the fog.

 I still like the star treck transporter. Scramble my atoms and beam them up.

 I agree with you Beloved! Knowing my luck a category 5 hurricane will it when I am half way up in  the elevator or I will need the bathroom.
