Yom Kippur
« on: October 06, 2008, 10:28:28 PM »

In my local newspaper today there was a photo of an orthodox Jewish woman waving a live chicken over her child'
s head.  This apparently transfers the child's sins to the chicken and then they kill the chicken.  Where in the name of God (literally) do they get this stuff???

it is really a perverted reenactment of the two doves, one which is sacrificed and one dove that is dipped in blood and let go. The goast that is killed and the goat tha serves to carry the people sin which was sent to the wilderness.  This just a poor mans scape goat. Overtime you use the things you have.
