3 Wooden Crosses

(1/2) > >>

Douglas Wayne Thomas:
I love music, some styles better than others, and I suspect that most other people enjoy music also. I especially like music that has a message, songs that cause emotions to well up, songs that make you stop and think. I enjoy Classic Rock and Country. I was just thinking about this song and wanted to share it with other people, who might not know how en grained religious themes are in Country music:

Randy Travis' Three Wooden Crosses -

If you don't know the song give it a listen, I think you will like it.

Also please let me know what you think about the song.

Patrick:
First time I heard that song, Randy was singing it at Cornerstone Church, Hagee's church. Don't listen to either anymore. ;)

Jackie Lee:
I like songs with a message also the song brought back memories, my first husband was killed by a drunk driver so it touched me.
I really like songs of the 70's and 80's not necessarily with a religious touch just about life. :)

PS.. I don't like Randy Travis music so much, kinda twangy. ;D

Jackie Lee:
Good music is ageless..
*Lord this time you gave me a mountain by Elvis Presley* brings tears to my eyes every time.

gmik:
I have always loved Randy Travis.  didn't know he sang at Hagee's church tho!!

I have got him on a video (Randy not Hagee!) singing Open the Eyes of my Heart Lord.  It makes me cry everytime!!!

Just put 3 wooden crosses on my Facebook.  Even tho a lot of these "Christian" songs are doctrinally correct as we know, they still can move people in the right direction.
