There certainly is nothing new under the sun.

Hey Samson,

Those were spot on for our current situation.
Wisdom is timeless...

My Grandma was a "Clemens" so I have a special attachment to Mark Twain!
(Samuel Langhorne Clemens)  maybe I'm also related to Longhorn?  ;D

Thanks for sharing,

Great post Samson.   Iv'e allways been a fan of all the Great Philosifer.  You might not believe this, but when old Loghorn graduated form High school, I had skoalership offers from some of the finest Truck Driving schools in the Nation, as far away as Oklahoma.

But sound judgment kicked in(as well as the Moonshine), and I took the advise of my dear Old Granpaw.  He said Longhorn, if you ever want to make anything of your miserable life, it would be wise to move out here on the farm and live off nature, and dangit if he wasn't right.

So heres my contribution to this philosophy thread.  This should help everyone on this board.

If the Buzzards wont eat it, you need to either

1. Throw it out

2. Burry it.

3. Burn it.

I hope that has helped some people.

Love in Christ

Hey Brenda,

You may be related to Longhorn,  ;D , maybe you've been eating some of his watermellon soaked in

Boonesfarm Apple wine, after too many of those watermellon slices, you may end up eating

some of that dead buzzard,  ;D. If the economy continues in it's present direction, we will all

be eating some Crow and Humble Pie.  ;)

                                                Kind Regards, Samson.
