I hate when I lose long posts. Two things I now try to do especially if the post is long , I write my post in Esword topics or I write it in a Word document then cut and paste it.  Sometimes in haste I forget to do this..

If I go off the page for something  I have leaned to highlight and copy, after a period of times when you go back it drops it. If it is gone when I return I then open up the reply button again and paste it again and then post it.

You can modify your first post and write your introduction by hitting the modify button...you get the window and can write or edit....when done do not post...You must hit the SAVE first.
