Those Emails to Ray again!
Marlene:
I second, that Jackie!!!!!!!
Dave in Tenn:
I've taken a couple of short strolls through the vast desert of Christian blogland. They just made me want to run screaming for 'home'. :D
Ninny:
You guys are so right! Some things you just don't need. I know that especially when you first come to know Christ you want to get as much exposure as you can because you feel you can be fed anywhere Christians meet. This is not always the case we should always remember that we are to shake the dust from our shoes and head on out of some places. God will deal with whom He will. We all sort of "stumbled" on to BT or should I say we were "tripped" by God and fell in here!! We have to be careful and look at things a little cynically I guess. You know you just can't believe everything you see these days. that's why Ray stresses to READ ALL the WORDS! know what the scripture says, I have never seen anything that he has written that says "take my word for it" We can pretty well take his word for it because he offers a plethora of evidence and scripture to back up what he teaches. Not like so many churches, denominations, religions or whatever that make a whole doctrine on one verse of scripture!

lol how did you know that I ended up in BT in accident? lol
I saw an advertising somewhere.
when i was bibletruths.com the first thing I though was "haha, yeah right, bibletruths? it should be biblelies"
then I entered and started reading, since it was against Christianity i rejected the teachings.
then, I went back to BT, some other day, because there was curiosity in me, I had a feeling that I just had to read some more.
then I started believing, one day God scared me, REALLY BAD, I felt his presence so Strong, that I thought i was going to die, in any half o a second. I was far from converted, I watched porn, and many other things that are wrong, God did this so I would know he is Real, that my life is in his hands, and to think what am doing.
Ninny:
Carlos,
I am glad to know there is curiosity in you! It helps you find the truths of God! We have a saying here in America it is, "curiosity killed the cat" so be careful that your curiosity doesn't lead you off into a dangerous place :D
You question things and you should. study the scriptures and ask questions. If you really have a problem with anything pray and then ask for help here. We sometimes forget that people who are not really that fluent in English have problems understanding what we are trying to say. So keep asking questions and keep going to God for your answers. Try to understand that some of us may have trouble understanding exactly what you are trying to say some of the time, but if we are all patient and wait on the Lord we will get it!
Love in Christ,
Kathy :)
