Hatred/Loving our enemies
Dave in Tenn:
Eileen's resource is the most valuable for helping us know how to deal with those pesky 'other people' that God has put in our lives.
It helps, I think, to keep in mind the ultimate goal of God in both their lives AND yours. How else can we pray within the will of God for those that despitefully use us, for example? We're going to be Sons and Daughters of God in the very image of Christ.
You ask 'Is it wrong...'. No...it isn't wrong if that's the best you can do for the moment. But I think just by asking the question you already know that this isn't the ultimate will of God for us. We GROW in Grace, however, and these tribulations and annoyances are a part of what makes that happen, and serve as benchmarks/signposts to let us know whether we are beginning to measure up to the fullness of character which the Spirit of God is working in us to produce. That takes time and pressure.
If avoiding these people helps you to 'not hate', then do that. But pray for these your enemies, and be open to the probability that God has set them in your life for the very reason of teaching you a better way in His good time. It may happen sooner than you think.
Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Rocket,
I can often relate to some extent about how you feel. I'm rarely hostile, if ever. But when internal frustrations generate through annyoing actions of others I usually resort to one of the most recognoized scriptures on the subject:
“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."
Luke 6:37
And as Dave said..welcome to the forum! nice to have you
God Bless!
