Sorry, bit slow here on the study front...but someones gotta bring up the rear!

Finished the Genesis study (rockin), but is there any info on the animals in the ark I have missed or has it been discussed... ie, what type of animals and how many (or few) and what it all sybolises etc.

Conjecture on my part, but they would only be local animals because the flood was local.

No, the mammoths were full grown.  Noah had one on each side to keep the boat level.  But every time they left them alone the boat would almost tip.



There was some "mammoth sex" going on in that rockin boat.

....You guys forgot about how the Aliens fit in with everything!....simple oversight I know 

Anyway...Just thinking out loud here...was just wondering whether anyone had given any thought to the spiritual significance of the whole noah event, you know...water (as opposed to fire), baptism, cleansing, presevation of chosen and few etc.....and also what preserving the wildlife meant and stuff?

No biggie, just thought someone might have mentioned something about it!

Yes, Ray has mentioned the spiritual applications of water and such.  I guess water can represent judgment as well as babtism.  Also consider that the Ark is a type of Christ.  I will add that eight is a number of new beginnings and there were eight people saved on the Ark.
