Thank you so much for your articles.  I have been searching for years for an answer to the statement a pastor made in the pulpit of a church I used to attend:  "You and your children are cursed if you do not tithe.  You many even owe some tithes in arrears."
 
I always wondered why when the leaders speaking seemed to have so much, and many of us in the congregation just getting by.
 
I would be so happy to attend a church where the needs of the church are known, then the members can do what they need to do to keep going -- not be fearful and being cursed or thinking that giving money you don't have will bring supernatural riches.
