Help, I am a pastor!

Hi all, I'm not really new to the site as I've been registered many months back, but since coming across bibletruths.com happenings of seismic proportions have been going on in my life.

I am a pastor leading a branch of a big church here in Europe, coming across Ray's site, I know I cannot continue as normalsince, I began preaching things I learnt after studying them in my bible. The assistant Pastor had since left. I took it upon myself to write to the head office to tell them that Tithing was wrong, Trinity doctrine is not biblical etc etc (I timidly left out saying that their doctrine on hell and ultimate salvation was also unbiblical). I expected the church to call me for a discussion so that I can go with Ray's writing and my bible...They never call me for conference. They asked me to relinquish all the church's item in my possession and no longer a pastor of (their) church since I no longer believe what they believe.

Thank God I have my day job and have not relied on a penny from the ministry. It is a trying time for me and my family as we have always been members of a church (So called). I'm happy my wife is with me on this and another family from the church.

I enthusiasticall shared some of these teaching with friends and family, and it's like hitting a brickwall, somenever got back to me, I began to wonder, why isn't anybody seeing what I'm seeing...Am I okay, or are they?

The question now is, because the family from the church who wants to know more of this teachings loves me and the message I now preach (from bibletruths.com of course), Do I allow them to leave the congreation with me and start a bible study fellowship, but I'm concerned I will still have to behave like their pastor as they do not really study the bible by themselves. Or do I just call it a day and study privately with my family and like minded people?

I crave for prayers and advice at this time, I went to sleep 2 am last night praying God to lead and show me what to do, nothing yet but I know God also speaks through His people.

I think its great that you went with your convictions. It also seems great that you have the opportunity to minister to a family.

Here are some verses
1 cor 2:24
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

1 Peter 5:3
Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.

So I don't see why you worry that you would behave as a pastor. It seems to me like it is a high calling from God and not a title bestowed by men. As the apostle Paul the purpose is not for having dominion but being helpers of their joy.

It is certainly a hard thing to come out of Babylon, and as a pastor it must have been harder.  This made me think about Nicodemus, the poor guy came at night to learn and his life must have bee very uncomfortable in the physical for him after The Resurrection, but oh the spiritual joy he must of had in that upper room.

God is Sovereign and we must obey and Follow.

Glad you are here on the forum, we have many guests but there are few that will be here at UK times to converse with you, some us here in the US who also get up at weird hours to read and share..

I'm glad you have joined us  :)
Well I must say that it is rare indeed for God to draw a pastor out of the church.  You will have many adjustments to make I'm sure and be assured God will guide you in the way to go.

John 16:13  When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

There is no need to worry about how you will handle this or that, take one day at a time and let God work things out as He surely will.

Mat 6:33  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
v. 34  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
 
You are among friends here, we are a great support to one another.  So come here as often as need be to seek fellowship with those of like mind.
