ok. never mind. i don't want to be 27 again, even with the knowledge of what God has shown you.
i will just be content to be my age and be blessed with all that God is showing me now.

i hope your day is as special as you are, and that you have a fun day with your wife and children. just remember that you are younger than you will ever be again.

Back in the church building I would have told you that:
"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)
And we would have probably ended up at some club, justifying our 'rejoicing'.

But today, I feel I have to tell you to:
"...grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18)
Because had it not been for that grace, your 'rejoicing' would have probably continued after 'the day which the LORD hath made'.

I was thinking of something to get you, but then I remembered that:
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." (James 1:17)
So now I am confident you will rejoice in the LORD.

I hope you did heed the words:
Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I say, "Rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4)
And did rejoice on the day.
