Hi Ray, I am enjoying your site. Question- The soul sleep you teach I was taught when I grew up in sda church, also Jws teach it also. Is your teaching any different than those?Also have you ever been affiliated with any of these two churches? I am very non-denominational now just searching scripture I am so enjoying your studies, I wish you were down here in Cape Coral Florida.

Dear Steve:

Actually, the fact that death is likened to sleep is a teaching of the Scriptures. This is not something that I invented. I do not believe one doctrine of either the SDA's or the JW's, or any other institutionalized church or denomination of men anywhere on earth, as far as I am aware.
