I love Jazz music, I have since I was in middle school. I don't like all this contemporary stuff, just anything between 1920-1960.
Before then I was a victim to hip hop and gangsta rap!
I don't really listen to anything anymore unless I hear it off chance and like it.
I love a good love song though.

Dave ,i think like you,just want to add my take on music,lately the song has to sound good
and also the lyric for me even to listen too,for me if the lyric don't sound right its trashed even
if the music sounds good,needless to say i am very selective what i listen too.
music from the 50s 60s 70s,classic rock,classical,musicals, jazz ,are mostly my chooses.

I have to listen to what my teenagers like!. ???.....sometimes two songs at once (and not the same artist at that!)......now what does that make me?.........very confused........I love to listen to silence.........how beautiful and peaceful  ;D

PS don't mind most types of music actually.....grew up with a dad that loves classical music, so I have to say that it would be my favourate type of music to listen to  ;D
