Thank you,
And i did soo enjoy the dinner, my Mom and brothers made a surprise and showed up for the dinner, a bit of roasting me of my youth, Now i know why memories fade, some are just embarrassing as my mother was telling them, i fergot of the many dumb things i did as a child, my God i did once nearly burned our house down, and i did re-eat a lolie pop i washed off in water that was covered in ants.
And the " Oh really, Rodger never told me about that one........ " like a conveyor belt they just kept coning from the words of my Wife......... stop the agony ,,, it never ends,,,, it never ends.... LOL
Ah memories that just yesterday were lost or lock away in the chest of embarrassment.
It was wonderful remembering those again with the family, and it shot off on a timely spill from our little one who accidentally spilled his drink, as i got napkins to clean up the mess, my dear mother open with you did those same things when you where a child and worst, ((cue in the bass music from jaws))
Ever i could request a last meal , it would be steak & shrimp and Tea, even the heartburn soon after is a gift reminder of over indulgence.
Peace and go get intouch with a distant relative or a Friend and tell them you still think about them, do that now for more time is wasted contemplating/prognosticating it.
Grace and Growth
Rodger
