I am curious if Ray explains the difference between angels and saints? ???

Hello Sandy,

Here is a link to a categorized list of Ray's email replies: http://forums.bible-truths.com/index.php/topic,3108.0.html

There is a category labeled 'Angels/Demons/Messengers' almost half-way down...let us know if that helps.

Thank you, as well, Marques for that link.

Hey everybody,

I'm going back and forth on what this means.   ???

I Corinthians 13;1

Though I speak with the
tongues of men and of
angels, and have not charity, I
am become as sounding brass,
or a tinkling cymbal.

Hello Sandy,

Paul is talking about different "Spiritual Gifts" and how to properly use them [such as: healing, prophecy, teaching, speaking in tongues, etc]. When discussing "tongue-speaking", he says that, unless there is someone who has the gift of "interpretation", that is to interpret a tongue-speaker, than whatever that person says is just [as Ray says...] "gobblely-gook".

Here's is a passage from the very next chapter which should help clear this up for ya:

I Corinthians 14:8-9 For if a trumpet, also, should be giving a dubious sound, who will be preparing for battle? Thus, you also, if you should not be giving an intelligible expression through the language, how will it be known what is being spoken? For you will be speaking into the air.

Hope this helps,

- Daywalker.

Hey everyone

RE:I Corinthians 13;1

Thanks for all the replies, I think I understand better though I know I have a long way to go.  I am looking forward to learning the truth.

Re: Angels and Saints what is the difference

As far as the difference between Angels and Saints not there yet.  Hope to finish reading the links Marques sent me earlier today.

Again, thanks everyone I really appreciate all your help and insight.

I thought this was talking more in the lines of what James said:

14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food,
16 and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?
17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, "You have faith and I have works." Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe--and shudder!
20 Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?

Hmmmm :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
