Ray, hello again.
I know you are very busy and I seldom write so please excuse me for sending two emails in one day, but I have a special request.
Next Thursday I have to see a doctor who will most certainly tell me that I have bone cancer.
I do not fear death. I do fear the judgment because I have not led as good a life as I could have, should have.
Although my wife and I have had a wonderful 33 years together, I'll regret leaving her because she will have no one to take care of her.
Please pray for my family.

Dear Hoyt: Certainly we will pray with you and for you. Nothing is as humbling as having one's own mortality staring him in the face. May God give you the strength and faith to endure all that God is asking of you. What you are going through now is part of your judgment. There is yet time to start living as you know you should. Quality is more important than quantity.
