When posting a reply, is there a way to quote only a portion of someone's post?

Yes...select 'quote' on whatever post you would like to take the portion of. Then delete any text between ['quote'] and ['/quote'] that you do not want.

Like so:

See...I took out 'is there a way to quote only a portion of someone's post?'

Or you can mess with their head thusly:

Oh ok, thanks.  I think I have done it like that before, but the brain is getting kinda foggy and I can't be sure what I had for breakfast this morning, much less what I might have done with quotes at B-T.  Does anyone else smell smoke??

Eileen

Just don't try it in the Gneral Discussions forum.   ;D
