I can not recall that Ray has addressed that particular aspect of that Scripture, what does it mean to preach to the spirits in prison?

Also Stephen, the search function on the forum is really good. Not only can you look for certain words or phrases throughout the forum but also specific to a certain area such as 'email to Ray' or 'General Discussions'. You just have to go to the Advanced Search section.

In Ray's recent bible study about "sowing seeds", he was reading this passage:

Matt 13:37
37   He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

Matt 13:23
23   But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
(KJV)


The only "good seed sower" is Jesus Christ.  Only He, through whatever means He chooses at His will, can sow the good seed into these earthly prisons.  Those who receive the good seed shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free, John 8:32. I think He has been preaching to the spirits in these earthly prisons and using  those of His kingdom to help.  Just my thoughts on the subject :)

Thank you for the info Rodger...the captivity & 'in prison' symmetry had went right over my head for the last couple of weeks of me searching through the forum and website. Thanks again
