Dear Ray,
My husband left 15 months ago and is living with another woman. I am standing for the healing and restoration of my marriage. Is standing for the restoration of one's marriage biblical? If so, could you please tell where to find this in the Bible?

Dear Mavis:
I assure you that I am as strong for holding marriages together as any pentecostal teacher. However, when a man leaves his wife to fornicate with another woman (and now going on TWO YEARS!), maybe it is time to be on with your life. You are not legally bound to a man who deserts you and your family for another woman. As for the nonsense teachings of "standing" for this or that, or "pleading the blood" for this or that, there are no such doctrines taught in the Scriptures.
