Title: E Sword HELP:)
Post by: psalmsinger on February 17, 2010, 09:25:43 AM
Hello all,

I just downloaded e-sword and went to the suggested page and downloaded Rotherdam's and the emphatic diaglot, some of the others, and a few of the cool commentaries in v.9, but I can't find them anywhere in e-sword or anywhere for that matter.  Are they just not going to load or am I looking in the wrong place? Snowed in again in Virginia.  Thanks in advance.

When you downloaded did you choose from the right hand side? I recently downloaded the same books and made the mistake of downloading from the left hand side. you must click on "v9 module" that corresponds to the translation you are interested in
LEFT COLLUM OF CHOICES                                    RIGHT COLLUM OF CHOICES
(OLDER VERSIONS OF ESWORD)                             (NEWER V9 VERSION)
____________________________________________________________________

English Language Bibles
Rotherham's Emphasized Version                                   v9 module
Concordant Literal Version                                            v9 module
Revised Young's Literal Translation New Testament          v9 module
Jonathan Mitchell New Testament                                   v9 module
Emphatic Diaglott New Testament                                  v9 module
Twentieth Century New Testament                                  v9 module
Wuest New Testament (w/ commentary and dictionary)      v9 module
J. B. Phillips New Testament                                            v9 module
Lamsa New Testament                                                   v9 module
KJV with Tense, Voice, and Mood (w/ dictionary)                v9 module

After downloading you have to unzip the files after clicking run you will get a unzip dialog box make sure you are unzipping to the following location c:\Program Files\e-Sword

Try restarting esword
Make sure the version of esword you just downloaded is compatible with the modules you are trying to use

Thanks Roy.  I downloaded the v9 modules 2 times but they unzipped to the wrong "program files".  My stupid new puter has 2 folders labeled "Program Files" and the default one was not the right one.  Thanks, I wouldn't have checked that had you not helped me.
