I know many consider this a day of thanksgiving, but I'm feeling sad for all the poor turkeys. They have nothing to be thankful for.

I went for a hike today and saw a happy looking flock out for a stroll in the woods  :D

I have a lot of wild turkeys by me.  They are pretty smart for being birds but dumb in a way as they'll stand right in the road and glare at you.  Had a dozen of them the other day that were pecking on a bare patch of ground after the plow truck went by.  I think they were lapping up the salt that the truck left behind.
