Title: Did Jesus fail?
Post by: CEO on August 01, 2009, 12:38:52 PM
Hi

Did Jesus fail? is what Willis heard while meditating on 'all'.  What do you mean?  Did Jesus fail?  Of course Jesus did not fail, why would you even ask?

Using the New American Study Bible,
I John 4:14  We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
Did he fail?

John 12:47  If anyone hears my sayings and does not keep them , I do not judge him: for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
Jesus came to save the world, did he fail?

I Timothy 1;15  It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came  into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.
Jesus came to save sinners, did he fail?

Luke 19:10  For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
How many are lost?  Christ came to save All.  Did he fail?

'Did Jesus fail?' is a powerful way of presenting the truth of the salvation of all.  When being presented such an obvious truth we have a 'teachable moment', a window where the mind is open, to show through scripture the plan for man.  All men.

Yes, Charles.  That kind of 'preaching' is also worship in Spirit and in Truth.
