Title: New member here. Just introducing myself.

My name is John. I am 59 years old. I grew up in a Pentecostal church and left when I felt the need to seek answers to questions which seemed to be never answered. . I then became associated with the Jehovah's Witnesses, but after a short time left and found UCG. They almost believed what I thought to be the truth. Then, after almost 40 years of searching (for what, I didn't know), I ran across bibletruths.com. For the last 8 months or so we have studied the teachings of L. Ray Smith intently. My wife, my son, and I have nightly studies where we delve into the manuscripts. We have found what was missing for all of those years. The emptiness has been filled with the Spirit of the living God. Contradictions are no longer found and we are now serving a loving creator.

I now have an almost insatiable need to share with anyone who will listen these marvelous truths.

I just want to say that the Lord has taken me out of Babylon and I am so happy to be where I am today.

Your story sounds similar to many of us here, i.e., a tour of Babylon before landing here. I am delighted you have joined and look forward to enjoying a "spiritual" fellowship with you and your family.

Isn't it amazing how long we have to stay on the merry-go-round of the church/world, seeking the truth in all the wrong places, as it were. Then sort of out of the blue we are taking off (the merry-go-round), the Spirit opens our eyes and God reveals these wonderful truths to us, via Bible-truths.com. It's really nice to have this place to share the fellowship of like minded people too, helps me a great deal. So come in and find a topic to post a comment or make your own topic, it's all good.
