I am a devoted catholic for most of my life. I have studied various Christian religions and see errors on lots of them except the assemblies of god religion but has a cover up of the protestant which i dont follow. i notice that the catholic bible has the apropha books and the other religions don't have it such as the jewish religion. so did the catholic church placed the apropha books or did all the other religions remove the books including the jews. if the catholic faith added such books i am converting to Christianity.
Dear Manny:
The apocryphal books found in the Catholic Bibles were also in the King James Bible of 1611 [fourteen in all]. In later editions, they took them out. The Jewish Old Testament does not contain their books.
