Title: Rapture
Post by: Craig on September 19, 2006, 01:37:03 PM
Ray, it’s good to be writing you again. I watched 3 hours of you online about repentance and how hard it is to get saved and I enjoyed both of them immensely. I don’t know if I agree on everything yet with you, I haven’t read all your work but I know God has blessed you and is using you to spread the truth. I know you’ e busy but can you please find the time to address this. I read you rapture paper. I haven’t come to a solid conclusion yet but I am leaning towards you’re take on it. I’ve been studying and stumbled onto these 2 verses. Now I know some teach that Paul was for gentile and the Apostles were for the Jews. In Jude 23 “  23  yet others be saving, snatching them out of the fire, yet to others be merciful with fear, hating even the tunic spotted by the flesh.” Snatching away is used here like it is in 1Th 4:17 “ 17 Thereupon we, the living who are surviving, shall at the same time be snatched away together with them in clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we always be together with the Lord.” Both from concordance number 726 to seize. I just found it interesting that both Jude and Paul talk about a snatching away and sounds like in the same terms. What’s you’re take on this?

In Christ Love,

Nick

Dear Nick:

I don't understand your question and/or statement:  What does "snatching away" have to do with the Christian doctrine of the "Rapture?"
God be with you,

Ray
