Randy Pausch also wrote a book called "The Last Lecture"  shortly before his death.  It is a beautiful story!

I took something very important from watching that video. It gives you an appreciation for what being a daddy is all about! I saw a man whose parents filled him with everything that they had when he was growing up..Listen up all you dads and future dads out there..learn a lesson here, no one appreciates flowers when they are dead and gone..let the flowers your children give you come from the seeds you plant in them so in your lifetime you enjoy your flowers! No greater honor is given to a daddy than for a little hand to slip into his and a voice say, "I love you, daddy." And when you are old an arm around your shoulder and a super sized hug and a grown up voice saying,"Dad, I love you!" Usually moms get all the hugs and kisses, but you daddies need to give and get those hugs and kisses too! Dads fill your sons with love and wisdom so that when they have children they can let that love overflow to their own little boys..and girls..teach your sons to be daddies!!  :D
